Results

The evaluation is done using a leave-one-out methodology and Receiver Operatic Characteristics (ROC) and Free Receiver Operating Characteristics (FROC) analysis [120] (see Appendix  for details). In the leave-one-out methodology, each query mammogram is analyzed using a model created with the rest of mammograms/RoIs, and this procedure is repeated until all mammograms/RoIs have been used as a query image.
