Automatic Mass Segmentation using Breast Density Information

This chapter explains the result of including the breast tissue information into the algorithm for mass detection developed in Chapter  and the false positive reduction developed in Chapter . The breast density information is computed using the algorithm presented in Chapter . We will prove the effectiveness of introducing the breast density information into the proposed mass segmentation scheme.
