Used Mammograms Containing Masses

A subset of $283$ mammograms containing masses were selected from DDSM database and used for testing the algorithms. Table  shows their distribution according to the breast tissue and using the own annotations of DDSM database. The proportion of mammograms of each class follows the typical distribution, where classes II and III tend to be larger that classes I and IV [33,62,186].
