About Citation Machine
Citation Machine is a tool to search for papers belonging to an author or group of authors. It is using Google-Scholar as data source but it allows higher level functionalities than the original service. First of all it counts your citations and in addition self-citation tracking also available! All in all we intend to leverage authors to access their scientific resume in a much more convenient way.
Main features:
- On-line search for scientific papers
- Citation tracking
- Self-citation tracking
- Customized scientific CV editor with update facility
- Export into PDF and XLS
- So much more
In a wider context
As a piece of the bigger picture Citation Machine is a part of a larger project called Bank of Citations. In nutshell we are working on a formula to transform "raw" citations into a kind of complementary currency which can be used in an alternative publication selection procedure called Citation-Auction.
